Upgrading of theory into practical
i am so jublinat applying for a marketing assistance position, ref: 6002383. The firm captured my attention through its impressive reputation. I previously worked at south african airways (SAA) as marketing assistance (Internship). I am holding a diploma in marketing from Msc. Great experience seeing the world
Working at SAA has been a blast. Someone said that if you enjoy what you do, you won't work a day in your life. I've always been in the service industry, while doing matric I got a job at Edgars as a sales assistant that i think no longer exist. The experience gained from Edgars ultimately got me into SAA. In my 17yrs at SAA I've made a lot of friends never a dull moment and also met a lot of celebrities. What I've learnt from my time at SAA is that you work with individuals, all people are different and that assumptions can get you in trouble. Most challenging aspect of my job came when I got married. Being away from home for long periods at a time began to take its toll on my family life and marriage I tried to get on the domestic flight pool but I was only dedicated for woman that had babies. A manager told my that they are not going to allow that anymore ( just domestic flights) for crew as they needed all crew to be flexible.
Pros: Great opportunity to see the world.

Leadership skills accuracy meeting dead lines
I Liaised with overseas suppliers regarding discrepancies, repair costs, strip down reports, coordinate retrofit programmers, inventory control and stock taking for the unit/aircraft components, solve procurement related problems, shipping of dangerous goods, coordinate warranties between vendors and SAAT, I learnt accuracy, checking on my work timeously, meet the turn around time and making sure the documents are up to date and correct both in coming and outgoing, I learnt how to work as a team and meet the needs of the organization planning and organizing, information seeking, achievement and deadline orientation, initiative, organizational awareness teamwork and cooperation customer service orientation, decision making and able to work under pressure confidentiality attended Aug situations after hours and how to go an extra mile.

Independent, hardworking and positive individual
I'm a 30yrs old lady, currently unemployed and seeking any job related to finance, taxation and Auditing. I enjoy working with other team members as I also learn a thing or two from them. I have strong leadership skills

The exposure is great, however currently the employee morale is at its lowest
Due to costs cutting, one ends up working 16 hours a day, seven days a week. Covering work of positions that were not filled . Being in the front line of operations, one is constantly on the phone throughout the day and over weekends. We don’t have time to attend to soft skills courses anymore and this become a hindrance to the teams performance especially with the changes that are implemented on a monthly basis
Pros: I am exposed to different working cultures across the globe. The projects that i have delivered from diffrent countries are a an experience to tressure
Cons: Due to human capital shortages within my section, as a manager you end up working long hours and throughout the weekend, the two employees I have plus the service providers across the network makes it more challenging to get the correct service expected from the company of our size from our clients

Great learning curve
Im currently yeam based and i work very well with my team and a good understanding with my teamleaders.what i enjoy most about my job is that there is no typical day,everyday different scenario and challenges as we do different flights on different weather conditions and aircraft serviceability conditions which all leads to decisions that must satisfy our customers.i have learnt alot from saa operations as it has tought me to be good team player and a great coordinator between departments and a good communicator(internaly and externaly)to clients.

HR Practitioner
Checking emails and responding, Meetings, Hearings and Warnings Meetings, Good relationship but very demanding, Have learnt to work with people. it has its ups and downs and i would like to advance in my career as I have been here in this position for a long time and i see nothing happening with regards to my promotion
