No interruption to production

Early in the morning when i arrive into the stores is to issue tools and consumables to artisans,technicians,boiler makers,welders,electrician by writing part numbers of each and every part into the tools register book. I issue ppe consumables like dust masks,ear plugs,gloves,goggles,rags and protective clothing for boiler makers and welders. I had a good relationship with my fellow co-workers as they knew they can trust me in offering them excellent service. Being a manufacturing company you always have to be ready for any emergencies that might arise during production as stoppages are not tolerated. Knowing that i'm contributing to an uninterrupted service in the production plant. Buying was one of my duties and a challenging task as i'll be struggling to source a broken part from the production plant which is old and no longer being made from our different suppliers.

Pros: Opportunity for promotion
Cons: Long working hours,no problem it comes with the territory
