Change in environment

A new change from Training to Metallurgy had to tap to old technical information. The new environment of mining has to allowed a mind shift. The culture that allows people to do what they want has been a shock to how I approached matters in the past

Great for skills development

Standard daily plant maintenance and inspections. Require tools and make spares list, follow company procedures and work instructions. Attend daily meetings and planning meetings. Extensive information about Siemens plc's and vs. Problem solving and diagnostic is very interestin. Working late and sometimes unplanned shutdowns g d's operations are quite challenging

Pros: Great opportunity to grow professionally
Cons: Irregular work hours
