Overview of myself

I am 42years old. I am very goal driven. Dedication, motivation and honesty are not negotiable. I enjoy working with people and I am firm but fair to all. I love encouraging and building fellow staff members. I believe in second chances depending on the circumstances. I enjoy my family life and this brings a lot on consistency in me. Policies and procedures are the key to success. In 2003 was promoted to parts manager of the branch. Since then I have grown this parts department from strength to strength. Now I have 14 staff members and we do a turnover on a monthly basis of +- R6.5 Million. In all my time as s parts manager I did not have any IR issues. My staff turnover has been nil, my stock losses/shrinkage has been nil. I do not believe in employing people from outside the group. I believe in recognizing staff members with potential and growing them within the company. All my staff that are currently with me have been empowered and grown to their current positions from within the company.

Pros: I am able to exploit all avenues of my daily duties within my DOA. I am also able to pliot different projects in line with the manufacturer. this is because this is a medium dealer.
Cons: No room for promotions

Eye opener in the transport industry

Kindly find attached my detailed CV for the above mentioned vacancy as I have completed my degree in Communications which I majored in Marketing and Public Relations and have also worked in the banking industry for 6 years in both the service and the sales departments where I acquired my Business Management Certificate and was selling and advising on banking products and also did a bit of business banking where I dealt with premium clients and have completed my Regulatory Examination as well. I have also worked in the commercial industry for the past 3 years selling and advising on commercial products by cold calling and setting face to face meetings(Mercedes Benz Trucks and Buses). And I believe this opportunity will be great for me so as to continue building my corporate career of which I have a passion for selling and advising on products and build a customer base and retain it and I'm also in the market and available immediately

Excellent learning curve

Being a good team player is essential for growing a company. learning is a key aspect for self growth and knowledge is important as we gain knowledge on a daily basis .A Typical work days are 12 hours long . Passion is important to be happy in what you do or you will not succeed and grow in what you do . The most challenging aspect about the motor industry is ensuring consumers are kept happy knowing how to keep over 120 clients a day

, team player, eager to learn new

My duties were to make sure that all jobcard were costed accordingly and and to make sure that the times and dates were accurate and the customers details were also corrected if not loaded correctly also made sure that the aims are submitted according and timesly with the correct damage code and also make sure that the the 3 cs are done correctly and the clockings are done accordingly basically to make sure that the jobcard Is up to dealer standard

Cons: No communication

I am a hardworking and honest someone

I am currently working at a very busy commercial dealership where we have a lot of walking in customers every day because we also service cars and sell parts and I must say I have very lovely colleagues and it is always hectic but I am used to that by now . I have learnt to work with a lot of different people with different characters and how to deal with each of them . I have learnt to be consistent and I also learnt to manage my time

Cons: i have two shifts the other one start at 7:30- 4:30 and the other one start at 8:30- 5:30
