Growth in Financial industry
I provide professional financial advice on long-term insurance. I travel extensively. In this industry, In order to survive, you need a good relationship with your co-workers as there is a lot of studying, the introduction of new ways of doing business, like system upgrade. we end up assisting each other. Sometimes clubbing when visiting clients. It is important to be aware of what is happening in South Africa, as this industry is linked to Economic climate of the country. I enjoy meeting new people, engaging with a lot of different kinds of people and listening to different achievements and challenges people faced in their day-to-day. This job is like my own business, so it involves cost of sales. In other words, before you do a business, you must put in a petrol in a car and travel.

Need to grow, diversify and learn about other company cultures.
I answer queries from clients about deductions on their bank accounts. Submit my daily debit orders (bulk - daily) Send unpaid reports to the clients I answer queries from clients about payments to their bank accounts. send out invoices once a month answer queries about amounts settled. follow up on amounts not yet settled after invoices sent
Pros: You get to learn from the Seasoned Staff members. And i can now transcat and do queries in Afrikaans.
Cons: Their policies are not very flexible, and the culture is dated.

Great exposure and learning curve
Making calls and following up with work requirements I've learnt time management, Learning about funds and investments Knowing how to analyze Analysis and client meetings is my favorite part of the job Dealing with different and difficult clients is challenging, a new strategy for a different client or situation I have a good relationship with my colleagues

I have a great relationship with my co workers. even though we come from different backgrounds. a typical day starts with calls about debit orders. I have learnt to broaden my career horizon. I can now speak financial jargon in Afrikaans as well as write a letter to the client.
Pros: I have obtained a lot of experience.
Cons: The Company Culture is very regid.

Excellent learning curve
It is a good company to work for, i have learnt a lot from working for this company, it is great place to start your career, the culture is relaxed and allows for work/life balance giving me an opportunity to ensure that i am involved and in touch with family and loved ones.

Very big side of learning,and adapting ,awareness
W, pb,wor Our relation ship as the workers was excellent,we were the rainbow nation ,we help each other,by transport or presentation to clients,sao it so it was asome.I learnt alot communiction,telephones skills,and computet skill,business skill and etc, Targets system is one of the things i enjoyed,that pressure and the drive,and also thappraisal time to the best perfomers,they hired aa mice place where all we come together for the pirizes,sa itwas the very interesting moment. As i already said the targets per months,when supposed to reach it and you did not youwrite a warning .
Pros: The field from mass,Presentaion,is enjoyable yo talk to the masses
Cons: Driven by your client,i worked till late ,because some of my client knock off late.

Informative
Sanlam is a best place to learn especially for a school living, i had a good relationship with my colleagues, opportunities to build yourself professionally were available. The most challenging part was to work for commission however it has taught me that you need to be patient for everything
