Advancement of career

I am currently employed by Sasol Chemical Industries in Sasolburg. I am a HR Consultant with 9 years experience in the HR field within the Sasol Group. With my involvement within the Management team (both HR and Line Managers) I have build trustworthy relationships with my customers. I have delivered service to different Business Units and disciplines within Sasol (i.e. Maintenance, Production environment). I have also dealt with different levels of workforce, from Senior Management to Plant Operators. I believe my foundation in the HR field was build on my entry level as HR Administrator. My ability to interact and to build sustainable and trustworthy relationships with my customers also ensured great successes throughout my career. I have also acted several times as HR Business Partner in our current area of responsibility.

Good Learning

I am a dynamic and motivated individual who takes pride in developing herself in any given industry. I have come to realize from my current work experience that people are an important asset to any business organization. Working and dealing with people has been the core of my current employment which allows me the flexibility to fit into any customer oriented industry and work in a team. My 15 years’ experience with Sasol has enabled me to understand the dynamic culture within the different divisions. I have worked with various Business Units including international BU’s and that has benefited me to understand the different Operating models within the business. Acting as Business Partner is giving me an exposure of where I want to see myself in future. The challenges I come across has enabled me to grow and strive to build the high performing culture.

Very interesting job and growth

I am specialist processes artisan helping on the plant on doing troubleshooting, training and mentoring employees, also Qualified Assessor through CHIETA , I am also helping employees on company policies and procedures that makes our relationship to be so good, I a have done practical supervision and leadership influence with Maccauvlei academy, i have learnt that you need to expect on what you are doing as it will make your job easier, be tolerant, accept criticisms and you must always willing to learn from others lastly dont be short tempered , I have enjoyed working with people especially when im training and assessing them,
