Excellent exposure

My typical work day -Toolbox meetings, jobcard acceptance, site visits, scoping studies, compile SHE File, conduct Potential Deviation Analysis meetings, engage with way leave department for applications, check equipment compatibility prior the task, ensure that all the resources are available for the task, do inspection on moving machineries, Relationship with co-workers -I co-operate very well in a team What I have learnt -I have learnt that working together can cause the company to make high profits and can also boost the morale of the fellow workers What I enjoy most -Having a bit of a challenge when doing projects and having the ability of outcoming that particular challenge The most challenging aspects of the job -Working with machines that are attached to a live gas pipelines on a daily basis

Pros: Great opportunity in a male-dominant industry
Cons: Travelling a lot

Projects

Dojng planning on a daily basis. performing ad-hoc tasks. I learnt to use previous knowledge of previous experiences to be added to this position. the most challenging aspect is to deliver all work on a section on time as we are dealing with multiple contractors at the same time

Pros: Long term contract
Cons: Contract may end at any time

Great company to work for

Capturing master data of 850 Km pipeline from Mozambique to KZN Develop maintenance strategies, plans and task lists, implement and maintain All cost control and accuracy of usage Maintaining master data in all levels e.g. work centres, costs, settlement, creating all new Functional Locations and equipment maintenance of changes Provide support and training across business inland and Mozambique Working on project (Master data) Streamlining processes

Pros: Not much carreer pspects after so many years
Cons: Long hours and weekends

Exposure to gas and all its behavioral chatacteristics

It is a nice exposure working at Sasol gas pipeline. The meeting we hold everyday I learn that safety is a priority and adhare to all rule. A typical work day includes a lot of driving and making sure you submit all the work order of the day.

Pros: Interact with many people. Thus improving my communication skills
Cons: Working in all weather conditions, exposed to driving

Excellent on mechanical engineering

Am willing to studying and contribute with all my commitment on work ..am good listener I able work wth people at sametime I keep learning achieve more and more

Pros: Great opportunity promotion
Cons: Working not more than 12 hours per day .atleast should be less on that
