The organization is very passionate about its people and allowing growth opportunities internally. The culture . The company is owned by government, a state owned company, reporting to national treasury.

Pros: Growth opportunities and salaries
Cons: Flat structure, I.e. you can grow up to a certain position and there’s no further growth.

Change of environment

I have been in Johannesburg for the past 15 years and I’m looking for opportunities outside t Gauteng , around the coast. . I’m also looking for challenges within the industry and growth. I enjoy trying new things and educating myself in the process. Though weather is humid this side of town but I’m certain that I will get used to the new environment. Change is good.

Pros: Great opportunity
Cons: Traveling between Joburg and Durban to see family

It is an internship

I have a good working relationship with my coworkers. I have discovered a new career that I was not aware of before starting with is job and that insurance is not as boring as I thought. Working with my colleagues and meeting new people has been a great experience.

My experience in IT - senior manager for more than five years

In IT my typical day is normally hectic, yet exciting experiences. One day is very different from the next one. I have good working relationship with all my core-workers, especially now that we have just completed critical new systems and solutions. Working in IT, I have learned that business must actively get involved and approve all solutions and systems to ensure alignment between business and IT.
