Excellent learning

At Schoonbee farm l have learn lot of thing like how to start a farm n how to grow citrus and table grapes from seed until on the harvest stage and how to do marketing for consumer, company and other market to buy the product. I have a good relationship with co-workers and HR and pack house manager due to l was doing the job with love not complaining and doing my job perfect. HR manager end up extending my contract due to hard work. The challenge l was having is when the give me lot of job and l have to finish all of them in one day and each and every job have a time when to submit and end up not eating lunch focused on my job. Sometimes we where working overtime and during weekends due to lot of work .

Pros: In life we need to grow hence I am expecting to work toward accademic furthering studies and work hard for experience.
Cons: Working during weekends and overtime

Excellent

I've learned how to multitask,the co workers are good to work with we can work as a team if needed I like new challenges the most challenging aspects about this job is when we employ people and when we end contracts

Good in digging and front loading

digging of trenches pits and loading of the sands also know the safety and how to approach the machine, checking water greasing all joins that needs the grease, check the diesel clean up my machine. the time i get inside the machine i must make sure that everything is ready my hazards adjust my sit indicators brakes, then i start up my engine and wait for 3 to 5 min to here if the engine is right and then i will go

Good learning curve

At Schoonbee Landgoed i was working nine hours a day and five days a week. The relationship with my co-worker it very good because i learnt a lot from them and they where not greedy with information. I i learnt a lot from Schoonbee Landgoed ,like doing farm duty works and how to work as a term and also ti co-oprate with my team mate. The. I enjoyed working at the woter department and also in a packhouse that's what i enjoyed the most. The challenging aspect of the job is to work during rainy times.
