It is worth while to have joined Sedibeng College, i have learnt a lot from offering subjects.

On a day to day basis I meet students, help them with their challenges and go through the prepared contents. Discussions with peers regarding my work because we are offering complimentary subjects of the civil engineering profession. If there are any issues that i need clarity on I always talk to my colleagues. I learnt that it is important to add as much details as possible to anything you do, explaining a concept to students and seeing that they do not catch it, makes you revise your presentation skills and how you engage with the class and individuals in the class. I enjoy when students understand the subject matter this makes me feel good. That is why i accepted the offer to lecture and give back to my community. The most challenging aspect is having lazy students because they take everything for granted and when they fail.

Pros: Allows you to grow professionally(you can further your studies) and get a bursary.
Cons: You need to be flexible because the department might need you to come to work early on certain occasions

Excellent

-working hours Monday to Friday -have a good relationship with my co-workers -learn so much i learn how to register a student and capturing, typing and filling and do financial statement -verifying the scrip for the student -registration time cause the are so many student at that time

Ab internship

administration duties and helping student with bursary application I also do register the students and print out lectures class register working at sedibeng college is good and challenges are very high I like that a lot I also want to see myself as a permanent staff of the college one day

Excellent learning curve

offer engineering lectures to student have a very good relationship with co- workers , management and students. enjoy school holidays being a parent and mentor to the students

GOOD

I HAVE A GOOD RELATIONSHIP WITH EVERY PERSON, AND ANYBODY THERE IS FRIENDLY, ALL I WANT IS TO CHANGE A BIT OF MY LIFE AND HAVE NEW BEGINNINGS AND MEET NEW PEOPLE IN A NEW COMPANY AND NW BOSSES BUT I HAVE TO SAY IT IS GOOD BEING HERE

Engineering boilermaking and safety

Application of the requirements of job card in boilermaking performing marking and layout, assembly drawing, reading drawing, use of auto cad, cutting material , operating machinery and power tools. Safety Make a use of personal protective equipment, ohs rules, able to identify hard and eliminates it, housekeeping and Identifying demarcated areas, correct method for safe operation and safe working conditions.

Great experience and learning curve as i learn new things daily

I am a young business minded women who strives for nothing but success in life. I have many talents and I am very much devoted to working hard to ensure that I achieve my goals to get where I want be in life. I dedicate myself to whatever task I have at hand to ensure that I perform the task to the best of my ability. I am a hard worker and mostly enjoy working with people to share my knowledge and always eager to learn from others. I have completed my National Diploma in accountancy with the University Of Johannesburg and graduated in September (2013).
