It was a different experience. Working in the hospitality industry. I used to part of audits and risk assessments. Arranged for events safety, that Organise paramedics, sufficient fire extinguishers for the building and ensure that the building is in a safe and secure place.

Excellent learning curve

Working at Sibaya casino was very exciting working with customers everyday, deliver excellent customer service and being part of a very passionate team developed me plenty of skills and experience. I very much enjoyed practising my dealing skills everyday whiles delivering excellent customer services,. A bad day would be dealing with rude. drunk and very stubborn customer but was trained very well on how to deal with such characters whiles still delivering good service as being professional at all times was very important as a dealer.

I enjoy working for my company , we have good managers who always willing to build junior staff for good opportunities in and out of the company .The company have good benefits

I have learned how to work in an entertainment industry and how to work close with guests

I organise invents, do risk assessments at venues. Do SHE campaigns, communicate with employees. Convincing them to work safely. Also train employees on their Safety. Teach them how to do waste separation. Follow up on them and see if there's any improvement. If there's no improvement, have to come up with other ways to train them. So they will be more interested. Do induction with the new employees and contactors. Check if their medicals are up to date.

Pros: Less opportunity for me. There's only a SHE Manager and a Security Manager. There are no other positions in the health and safety department
Cons: I only work 8 hours, Monday - Friday

Ability to work under pressure, I like to set myself high standards and as such have acquired a reasonable knowledge in my sphere of work.

Grown allot

Highly demanding due to the lack of people able to do this job.accuracy is of utmost importance. I have been given the room to explore new products and created a new one which is a forfullment in its own.

It's an great job that requires precision and quick thinking .The perks are great

It's great to work there if you're not a family person,as it requires alot of your time .Theres alot of shift work , so you won't be living a normal life .Your mornings may sometimes be at 6 in the evening or 10 in the night
