Senior quantity surveyor, project manager. Mentor 6 interns.

Progamming of work at the begining of the week and then reviewing at the end. Working as a team, supporting and respecting one another. A typical work day involves site meeting, and construction cost management. Have fun with works, and you would get more out of them. My policy is to make my co-worker love there job and feel good when they come to work. In my profession time is money and every project i work on i will always learn something new from the next person, thus respect other peoples views and oppion.

Pros: Every project is a challenge and a learning curve.
Cons: It involves long hours, and lots of travelling.

I learnt a lot in the position and still willing to learn more

The relationship with my co-workers on site was great because everyone will do according to the instructions given and what I like being on site is that most of the time I was the one who solvcate of the house keeping and I am the one wh dates quantities of materials, ordering material,sign f what ever delivered on site so I can say it was great for me to be on site at all timese problem and taki

Love what you do and enjoy your profession.

Work starts at 7.30 am and finishes at 5pm. Normal day . We are like family, support each other. Typical work day involves, programming of work, meetings etc. I have learnt that everyday, in the building industry, you will learn something new and face new challenges. What i enjoy most is working under pressure and being in control of what i do.

Pros: Challenging enviroment, get to work in the office and travell to sites etc.
Cons: Long hours
