I have been working as a receptionist in an established medical practice for 15 years.

I have been working as a receptionist in an established medical practice for the past 15 years. I have acquired some very useful problem-solving, planning and organisational skills over the years, as well as some valuable lessons in working with clients / patients. A typical work day included answering of phones / scheduling appointments, as well as offering some personal encouragement to clients / patients. My relationship with my co-workers was wonderful. Very professional. No office drama / politics. The most challenging aspects of my job was placing orders for the clients' medication (important medication) in a timely fashion, so that they wouldn't run out of their medication.

Pros: Enjoyed working with people.
Cons: There were no real cons to speak of.

10 + years office-related experience

In my 10 + years working for SlenderMed, I have gained some valuable organisational, time-management and administrative skills, as well as interpersonal skills in dealing with clients on a personal level.

Pros: Lovely work environment.
Cons: Unfortunately circumstances beyond my control forced me to leave towards the end.
