My daily duty include interacting with clients ,attending all faults reported then report to national,supervise technician under my guidance and training clients about our system. Difficulty see encountered on daily is stock shortage when having to service the client and brings distrust and frustration from them.from our regional office leaders always incited good team spirit so we didn't have much hiccups/disputes. Team work that's what I learned the most from our organisation.

Pros: opportunity were granted hence they emphasised promotion from within.
Cons: Long working hours was a once off thing.

Great foundation for building career path

My current company has created a very solid foundation in my career for me, I manged to grow from junior technician to Support Supervisor and now HOD of Internal IT Support. I make sure that our sister company aligns itself with the standards that are set by the main groups IT Department, making sure we adhere to polices and procedures set. I also provide IT support for the department as well as in charge of call logging procedures and overseeing that calls are logged correctly and monitoring the system. I created the portal to suit the departments needs and also overlook and analyze the report to see trends and progress of the technicians on the field. I configure mobile devices with application (in-house or off the shelf) and provide full support to the users.

Pros: Great working environment, no micro managing, able to initiate change, up to date with technology
Cons: not much personal or career growth opportunities

Best practice for me far.

A lot of travelling to sites. We are like a family Professionalism is what I have learnt Team work to accomplish tasks/ complete projects Meeting deadlines at with a good quality service.

Pros: A good place to learn and grow.
Cons: Long working hours.
