South African Nursing Council Reviews

Customer Orientated

I am writing to express my interest in the position of Customer Retention Specialist with I worked at a call center for over a year where it was my job to reach out to consumers to get them interested in certain products and to make a sell or at least get the person interested in what the company had to offer. During this time, I learned how to deal with rejection graciously and even learned to smile and move on when faced with irate consumers and verbal abuse. I learned to never take things personally and to stay focused on the assigned task. I have the skills and abilities to find ways to convince a customer to continue using your services once they have decided to close their account. I have the patience to listen to why the customer is no longer interested in the services and the ability to use this information to try to turn the situation around.

Pros: Persuing Studies in Conctact center Management
Cons: Handle Pressure

Excellent learning curve as i have the responsibility to lead and direct SCM

Very busy environment due to a lot of spot purchases and planned procurement as the majority of contracts were running as evergreen even those which does not qualify to be evergreen. I have a very strong relationship with co-workers as my job requires more of cross-functional teams than individualism. I have learnt a lot about end-to-end supply chain and improved my capacity to develop and implement elements of supply chain management. I enjoy making decisions which also affected the executives, senior management and the organisation at large. The most challenging aspects of the job was resistance to change to new developments and suggestions aimed to shape the organisation to the new direction due to my position - as I am just a middle manager.

Pros: Great opportunities to learn without being directed otherwise
Cons: ong working hours and lack of leave of absence time

Responsible

The fact that when my manager left our section did not have any manager, still today since 2014, I took it upon my self to take the reigns in my own hand and do all the research. Read policy and procedure manuals to make sure that our Records section did all be book. Attend to internal and external clients. What I most enjoy is working and assisting people and make sure that they are satisfied.

Pros: Experience, training and support from Manager
Cons: No room for improvement

Fabulous environment

nursing council is the only one in the country where nurses all around the country come to pay their annual fee(practicing licence) as some of them call it , that alone keeps us on our toes as we must never run out of stock at no given time. External stakeholders as well as customer care is part of priority in the nursing council.

Pros: none
Cons: Good hours
