Moved into a newly created role recently. The role is not 100 percent defined yet. Really looking forward in starting the new challenge. Currently acting Manager for Indirect taxes team VAT/PAYE. Managing a team of 9 team members. Daily roles support to office users, maintaining of current systems. Actively assisting and guiding new systems and legislative changes. We are the link between the business owners and technology. Enjoy the different challenges you face daily getting fixes prioritised and implemented. Enjoy problem solving of difficult daily issues. Very good and trusting relationship eith team. Drive for results, value work ethics and diversity. Most challenges will be the different diversities of team as a whole.

Learn Different industry
1. Managing of a complex diary on daily basis and prioritizing of meetings. Text messages were sent in the afternoon daily regarding to the calendar for the following day for the GE to be prepared regard to his meetings. Pre reads are also prepared as well regard to all meetings for that particular day 2. The GE would stand in on behalf of the Chief Officer (his boss) regard to EXCO and Steercom meetings and I would have to block his diary pertaining to that so that he can be able to work in that regard. 3. Managing of emails:- I scrutinize and forward emails that needs all the GE’s 4 Senior Managers for attention and handling and need to make follow ups regard to those emails. I brief the GE regard to all his emails during breaks for urgent ones and afternoon daily regard to all his incoming emails.

Excellent learning curve
I have recently been seconded as an analyst in business systems division. I enjoy having to work and gain relevant experience. I learn new things everyday-supporting business especially with business solitions. The environment at work is a good and healthy one. I have great relations with superiors and co-workers

Motivated individual
I am commitment oriented individual who enjoys being part of the team, as well as leading a successful and productive team. I am motivated self-starter and a team builder with an aptitude for learning new skills ideas and concepts quickly, and to develop innovative and creative solutions to problems. I have ability to evaluate, review and test computer system capabilities and business solutions, workflow and scheduling limitations. Tedious
Unfair at times as they do not recognise talent from inside. They will employ someone who is clueless about what they are doing pay them a lot of money while the others who are junior are supposed to clean up their mess. There is lack of accountability as well. If you are not interested in staying for long with the company, it's a great opportunity for learning and seeking employment elsewhere as growth potential is limited. You will stay in one position for a very long time without moving.

I am good team work
I have worked in dynamic teams in the collection world in both private and public companies. This have exposed me in working with different kind of people and different company financial statements in analysis credit worthiness. I have now completed my Btech internal auditing, which make me suitable for any financial position.

Excellent Learning Curve
It is a great company to work for with great development opportunities. I started as an administrator and today I am a registered Psychometrist. My company paid for all my fees including the practical Psychometry programme with the university of Johannesburg as well as the HPCSAA registration.

SARS as a employer
as a tax specialist within the audit division i was granted the opportunity to work with the best professionels within the tax faternity and was exposed to a vast array of industries and companies. What enjoy most that every audit was new and a excellent learning curve, each and every company or industry is unique and everytime i have to addopt to the new environment and challenges. i was exposed as an e.g. to the arms deal, the Fidentia scandal, the fishing & wine industry, the construction industry, the oil industry and in my last years i conduct various investigations in to the tender fraud within the private and public sector. within the specialist audit divisions we work and operate in small teams consisting of professional staff members each with their own unique set of skills and experience. SARS was a great organisation to work for but unfortunually it has also become a victim of state capturing.

Management level
I enjoy working at my company; my job schedule for the day is very tight but I have a very good working relationship with all my bosses; they trust me with what I do; my boss deligate most of his duties to me with the purpose of grooming me to become highly skilled; I have a very good relationship with my fellow colleagues as well. The only challenge is that I'm not getting any recognition in terms on getting appointed in the next level job this in my view is due to the fact that my manager rely too much on me and he has highlighted that on my last one on one meeting that I've had with him; my character and behaviou makea the manager to old on to me knowing that if I have to leave it will be a loss of valuable resource
