On a typical Morning Start with checking of all appointments for the day. organize all the necessary stationery to be used on the day. Having a morning Coffee with colleagues while we prepare and discuss what to look forward to on the particular day. Lunches had at the premises most of the time. On a hectic day one doesn't think of anything else but to provide great service to our clients. We strive to keep our clients as happy as possible from the time they walk through the door until they leave. We have a very close relationship with my colleagues, we are a small group so we ensure that our days are always peaceful and we communicate very well to ensure that we sort out all the misunderstandings that occur during the course of the day. What i enjoy the most is seeing our clients and employer happy with what we do.

Excellent opportunity for marketing exposure in general
In have gained Exposure to creative space, leanring to write advert scripts, photoshoots and briefing suppliers. In mall marketing management, sourcing marketing/branding and merchandise suppliers. Sourcing new clients via screening,using sms campaigns. Mangaging budgets I work 8-5 everyday and am a affinity btand model for the the group

Management is terrible
Management is terrible.manah Work days are long Hardly any off days No salary increase No staff acknowledgment Bad service from owner all the way to the management Dishonest workshop from the owners

Very challenging
it is very nice working for Spec-Savers but it can be challenging sometimes. I love meeting new people and with the job I do I meet new people every single day. communication is key and I give my utmost best to my customers. I enjoy working with people and going out of my way to satisfy their needs and make sure they receive the best product on the market.
Pros: i got a promotion from being a frontliner to a optical assistant

Great learning environment
My company works the following way: I work in a fast paced environment. I get given a brief about a project that needs to be done, I design it using Adobe programmes. This involves designs, mock-ups, what it looks like, how it functions etc, as this gets presented to my marketing manager. We chat and feed ideas off of each other. Once we are both happy with it, it either gets sent to CEO or we pitch the ideas to him and the rest of the team. Once they are happy it gets put into production and final print ready, web or development team is put together.

Excellent learning curve
To work in any optometry practice is an experience. There is always something new to learn. Hours are relative and not as late as other mall hours. Salary is below average. Very small practice and with that comes allot of managerial issues.

Excellent people skills
I always believe that your workplace is your second home so my colleagues will be like my family. I enjoy most working with different people and making them happy. I have also learnt that you create the environment you want to be in, if you want to enjoy your work then keep everyone happy. do your best and be your best!
