Learning the media industry

Long hours and sunday work. no proffessinalism everybody doing their own thing.No level of authority. if you just joined the company you are soo fortunate as you will be bullied and told that you are a new staff member and these are our long trusted employees. very little education if any. company operated by feelings. not a nice company to work for

Cons: long hours and working on sunday . not safe as you close at 1am at times with no security

Proper training and development

Sterkinekor is a very good company that presents opportunity and also provide adequate training and development for all its employees, I would say it's downfall would be its inconsistency with its technology call improve men's.

Excellent

Am in an entertainment industry,very good with customers satisfaction,ensure we have enough stock to trade,get business from outside,encouraged and training of staff,completing staff schedule and salary verification,good receiving of stock and compelling of invoice,met targets as per requirements of the business.

Excellent learning curve

I am overseeing 18 cinemas in Johannesburg, once a week am in the office then four days am at the cinemas where I do HR audits and check on the climate at cinemas. I am passionate about Talent Management. The most challenging aspect of my job is IR as my turnover is high due to misconducts.

Learning to deal with customers

I was working as a food and beverage supervisor.i had to make sure that we had enough stock to last up until the next order day comes. I had to make sure that we do not have expired stock on hand meaning i had to apply the first in first out system to avoid that. I was responsible for ordering and receiving of stock.and doing investigation for any stock variances. Relationship with workers was good we were a great team with team work. I've learnt alot about dealing with stock it was something that I've never worked with. I enjoyed the vibe the energy that we had on busy days. The most challenging thing was to give people warnings when theres any stock loss.

Cons: when its school holidays no offs

Excellent learning curve and Good Exposure

Working at my company its very strenous with long working hours ,Itvis very interesting working there though learning all the new things on entertainmemt and Media. Managing 2 cinemas as food and beverage Cluster Manager.

Pros: Great opportunity for learning
Cons: Long working hours weekend public holiday and night shift
