My description below describes my role & responsibilities. I am a business analyst & scrum master

My day starts of with a scrum meeting. Where I manage all the tasks that needs to be carried out by the team for the day. We address any risks or impediments for any project. Throughout the day I handle my business analysis activities and get involved in meetings. Most days I handle support for some projects and perform UAT on new packages being deployed. I have a good connection with my co-workers being a developer or tester and willing to make a bad connection work and make a good connection even better. I believe the better the chemistry in the team the better the results. I have learnt 2 key parts which is the entire business analysis approach and all related activities along with carrying out a project from start to finish.

Pros: Exposure to different clients
Cons: Long hours.

Satisfactory

Hello, Because of the repetitive nature of styling many apps and websites which hadn't gone live yet when I arrived at the company; I got an in depth understanding of stlying pages in CSS and the Sass framework. And I learnt how style pages under pressure in a short period of time

No benefits

It is a company with a lot of potential for growth in the QA and testing sector -the most difficult part is the benefits and annual increase on packages. It is a good place to gain testing experience but it takes time to build a competitive remuneration when bench marking against other companies .

Jump start to new career

I deal with client problems. Create new documents to make jobs flow better. Answer phone calls. Man the front desk. Control assets. Manage some staff. I like my co-workers and have a pretty good relationship with most of them. I did learn some new skills on the job, but no formal qualifications. The most challenging aspect of my job is that it is not challenging.

Good if you are a grad

- The work load does not really stretch your level of thinking. - you work closely with other co -workers which is a great thing as you all get to solve problems together, however the flow of work is not managed properly. - I have learned quite a lot, SQL and I am currently working on my automation skills which is by far the biggest learning curve for me. -The most challenging thing about the work I do is constantly having to look for solutions online as there is no senior to assist with certain issues.

Good place to start a career

STS is a terrific place to start a career , my co-workers are a pleasure to work with . The leadership style in STS is one that is open and gives you free reign to run your section. I had no experience in warehousing before working at STS and now I am very knowledgeable about our products as well as the processes involved in warehousing. My daily tasks include the stock take of deliveries , maintaining the stock sheet and the process of packing ,labeling and distribution of packages to our clients.
