Truck rental is hard and we should earn more

I have +- 8 years working experience with in the Cars and Truck Hire industry. Have worked with a large fleet of trucks and drivers, did trip sheets, ensuring that deliveries are done on time as per the clients request and bookings of vehicles for services, monthly invoicing, daily updated of fuel and billing it back to the clients. Smart serv tacking of vehicles for correct month end km reading and knowing what route the vehicles are traveling. Accident claims for vehicles returned with damages. Also sending the vehicles into panel beaters.

Learning curve

I have learnt so much with this company. I have more understanding on what customers needs and how to relate with the customers. How to work with a team,ability to be able to listen and pay attention at all times. The ability to trust myslef more in terms of making important decision with Begin told by the manger what to do. We work long hours,but because we work as a team the hours seemed short. Most challenging was when you give 100 per cent but never get a thank you from your manger on matter how hard you worked,that can keep any person down.

Great learning curve but looking for growth

It’s a great company with friendly employees.The work is great and I have learnt a lot from it. I had a ga well relationship with my colleagues and I enjoy challenges

Not bad at all

Ok environment to work,it has its own challenges like deadlines and punctual delivery of goods to customer and unsatisfactory customer. Work well with the staff and very demanding supervision.

Im a very quick learner and a tension to details, and a very tideness is important in the business

the day start off with breakdown early morning of the hours, breakdown can be be sorted on the road, but we waiting on technician to get the breakdown, follow ups within every 30 mins love to work with people that can handle pressure when pressure starts co-workers intend to stress but i'm always the one that cam the storm. all is the not the same, a SOP is important to Follow and make sure the job is complete in full, meaning dealing with all issue until vehicle return back to yard. the busyness with in the season a client goes on the trip and the vehicle breakdown or something happen with the vehicle at the client time schedule

Excellent learning curve. The place is big and I have learned a lot, long hours,

Long hours. Don't pay well. Big fleet of vehicles that we control. Stand by for a month and no payment for the phone. I can be far by now but here No promotions
