Dealing with people. Planning to achieve targets and being flexible enough to be innovative.

I am a punctual and target driven person . The challenges I encounter in life are my learning curves and private me to think about possible solutions. It gives me pleasure to see my plans come to fruition and my colleagues being happy at work. Currently I start work at 07:00 to 17;00. The main challenge is the weather at the moment which is not within our control.

Pros: Having ventured into farming and being the main person in charge, there is no promotion expected but expansion.
Cons: unpridictable weather

Good team leader, communicator and results-driven.

My current job as a self-employed Farmer is very challenging. The weather plays a major role. A typical working day would start with watering or harvesting what needs to be delivered at about 07:00. Delivering produce during the day and watering again from 16:00 to 18;00. My relationship with my 7 employees is excellent. They stay on the farm and have access to unlimited solar power. At harvest time I am the happiest person. Apart from the weather, security is another challenge.

Dealing with weather challenges.

As a Farm Manager, I always have plans A, B and C. Plan A is for normal plans,. Plan B is for weather changes and Plan C is for emergencies. We work as a team and my 8 assistants understand the dynamics of farming.

Pros: There is potential for great expansion as land is readily available in the rural area.
Cons: There may be no fixed working hours. The weather and any emergencies determine what should be priorities.
