Its a interesting industry to learn things because its about refrigeration but jus thee container size refrigerator which transports all our fruits,ice cream and the different fish to various country's abroad.You learn to know how the container runs to keep the goods at a moderate temperature. I get along very well with my colleagues, its always a joy talking to them and knowing challenges that they face everyday we are one close family.I've learnt from this industry that it is world wide and no matter what company you are you face challenges with many other companys with all doing the same thing on common,getting the work done. What I enjoy the most about this job is meeting new people,learning about the reefer industry and how it is run everyday.

Pros: Normal working hours
Cons: Not being appreciated for what you do,getting paid late,favoritism

Great monitoring exposure

With this role it required me to start by working day at 6am monitoring reefers units making sure they are running at an optimum level with no problems, Reporting to a higher authority to submit results and ensuring there are no problems. Relationship with my colleagues are kept on a work platform where we dont get much into personal issues as that would effect work ethic. I have learnt alot about the import/export duties of theses reefers that i would monitor and the way they worked.

Pros: Company lunch/Catch ups is regular
Cons: Extended Working hours and Weekends
