Hardest lessons ever learned

All i have learned is that not only people, but also companies cannot be trusted. Not transparent as they claim, delays are worse, feedback is somtyms not given. And Growth is highly IMPOSSIBLE...Promises are alot,Deliveries are Less..TD experience not even worth to be on my Cv..NutinG PeRsoNal

Relaxed and comfortable environment

My current place of work has been a very comfortable and friendly environment. I have gotten along well with colleagues and we have worked together to provide excellent service to GEMS clients. I have learnt how to deal with medical queries, how to present a medical aid benefit structure and also how to sell the idea of a healthy lifestyle to my clients. I enjoyed making customers happy the most and receiving compliments and good reviews of my service. It was challenging when i received calls from clients that were difficult, irate or persistent on things that werent possible, but I learnt from this experience that customer service means seperating your personal feelings from the job at hand.

Pros: comfortable working environment
Cons: working a 6 day week every week

Fast learner

As I joined the company I was able to get along with my colleagues, team work was the main skill needed, assisting others where it's needed and also asking for help where it's needed for the team to succeed, I have learned that hard work and team work pays off at the end of each cycle, sales it's never easy but having teams mates who are really patient and hardworking really made me passionate about this industry

Fast learner

My company will give you work based on your capabilities, however when credit is due none is given. despite the cons TeleDirect has amazing people who are friendly and warm welcoming. I would like to find other opportunities to grow

Learned everything in each and every department

Since I started working at TeleDirect in 2011 as a sales person it was indeed a platform for me to learned,I have learned a lot In this company and the good thing about Teledirect promotions are always there when you work hard and commited,I was moved to dofferer departments for me to learned and today I have a lot of experience because of them.Today am able to work under pressure and am able to work long hours and am able to work with people (team work),my challenges were if I was given a target to reach and I don't get it I become so discouraged but as the time goes by I told myself that no matter I must reach my target then I started morivaling myself everyday then I reached my targets.

Pros: When you work hard you are being promoted.
Cons: Sometime you do work long hours if you have not reached your targets

I am always willing to lean as continues development is a strength.

Target per day is 6 sales. I work well with others and independently. What i learn daily is how to communicate with clients what are there needs and understanding there requirements i also enjoy assisting clients and helping them do something which will assist there families. The most challenging aspects is when dealing with irrate clients who has been disappointed previously so i need to first karm them down and then give the reason for my call. Sales is not just a job for me it is my passion and will always make sure i give the client a product which will suit there needs and also there children financial future which will make me a great sales consultant.

Pros: Good opportunity for grownth.
Cons: Willing to work late if my target has not been achieved.

Excelent learning

Learnt most of the things about what call centres deal with, even how to speak with clients.how to handle when a caller gives you a problems.try to limit call time. Sharing skills with my co-partners. I enjoyed to work there,i work full time.i was havith the best results from my managers. It was good until the company be closed.

Have learned a lot within the company grown as an individually

been with the company as a customer serves agent worked for 8 months than promoted to another department for great performance have nominated for best top performer for both department still current working and maintain the standards that are required from me

Cons: no remuneration
