Excellent working experience

Before my internship program started I knew nothing about being in an office environment. Now that my 12 month internship program is over, I feel like I have learned a lot and that i will continue to learn more as I'm still in the organization Firstly I became familiar with the organization itself and the environment, I didn’t just do my daily tasks but I also learnt other people’s tasks because my aim was to experience various work and how certain situations are handled in a professional manner like answering calls and sending out emails. Being in an office environment has taught me to learn more about the organization as what type of work and company it is. I did my tasks ensuring that I complete them before due time and to learn other activities altogether like (multi tasking) that took place in the organization.

Pros: Able to work with different people and share different ideas (Team work)
Cons: working on weekend without overtime being included in your salary

Excellent learning curve

TEXCON was a great experience..it equipped me with a few skills to take with me out in to the world as i try spread my wings and learn more. Texcon gave me my first job after leaving university meaning that they saw potential and i am forever grateful.

Pros: Great platform for social development and community outreach and development
Cons: Limited resources
