I am an innovative and goal driven Building Engineer graduate, experience through the various sites and diverse environments have contributed to my growing passion for the construction industry. My dynamic character, multilingual skills and team player capabilities are tools I consider essential to the day to day survival in the construction world I worked for Stefanutti Stocks as a Junior Quantity Surveyor, a leading building contractor covering the whole of the Cape Province, which specialists in inner city refurbishments, luxury hotels, retail, leisure & entertainment, high-rise residential, industrial, multi-storey parkades, airport and healthcare facilities.

Pros: I'm a responsible and dedicated person
Cons: I work well under pressure and I'm able to work long hours when ever there is a need

Exponential learning curve which can only be obtained through the exposure that I have.

A busy fast tracked day, amazing relationships and communication. I Learn everyday with daily issues from sub-contractors and the correct systems to be taken after. I enjoy working with people and liaising with a variety of people with different personality traits. The most challenging yet rewarding aspect of my job is dealing with two or more concurrent deadline dates.

Pros: Great experience exposure, amazing people to work with.
Cons: Fixed term contract, salary not within my living means.

Good learning curve, just less salary

Good opportunity to learn. Great exposure to work. Less salary. Selfish management. Exploitation of employees and subcontractors as well. No benefits such medical aid, pension fund etc and yet the salary is so little as well

Pros: Great opportunity to learn, exposure to work is good. Good employees who are willing to give thier all but the salary is the demotivating factor
Cons: Long working hours for less pay
