Excellent learning curve

I work for a husband and wife, the wife is the owner of the company,so she has the final say even if the husband had thought that your idea or suggestion was good at first he ends up siding with the wife for some reason and this affects my ability to express my ideas I have learned quite a lot and also grown in my leadership skills Being hired to be HR without any qualifications just experience has taught me so much as my core functions are Human Resources apart from being a Manager The most challenging aspect of my work is having to persuade my CEO to do the right thing,she is always against the fact that an employee must be paid all their statutory monies at the end of each contract or termination of employment or paying overtime according to what's due We have a open door policy What I enjoy is the level of authority I have to make decisions on behalf of the company not always micro managed

Fast phased and excellent learning curve

The company is controlled by husband and wife and their decisions are most of the time bias The relation between co-workers is strictly business no personal relations. A typical day at work, always expect the unexpected and one must be flexible enough to be able to play a colleagues role. The company is suffering from staff retain ship.

Pros: Great learning opportunities
Cons: Being given other employees work because the Director belives that they are unable to complete the job with exellence

Good opportunity go growth

Good working environments, I enjoy the month end pressure it is a learning curve of working independently and under pressure but still deliver good result on time.
