Exciting experience and dealing with lots of people and learning how to work under pressure

Its been a great experience having to organize an event from scratch, I do most of the administration in the office answering calls, responding to emails and book venues as well as following up on the service providers. I get along very well with all my colleagues as we have different but exciting tasks that we are responsible for and we advise each other all the time. At THC I ave learnt that for an organisation to thrive we have to work together in our different departments, because if one department does not deliver the rest suffers The most thing i have enjoyed at THC is that when the day of the event arrive and it becomes a success, i feel a sense of great accomplishment. The most challenging part of the job is to get the artist to a final agreement of the contract as they change their demands of which some cannot be met.

Cons: working on weekends

Great experience working with people

At THC I have come to realize that as individuals with different perspectives on issues we can all learn from each other. I have learnt to respect someone else's position in the work environment and to trust the we are all working towards a goal which is to achieve a good result to a task What i enjoyed mostly is seeing an event we organised become successful and all stake holders satisfied with the work we done as a organisation The most challenging part of organizing events is to meet an artist's needs as they change everyday until the actual day of the event

Cons: Long hours and seasonal
