Working at Clicks Group

Perform daily tasks mostly around the month end group reporting process. Enjoy my dealings with very competent CFO. Somewhat struggle in my dealings with less competent head of finance who sits between myself and the CFO, a stumbling block in my development and my room for growth. Other then that, have a splendid relationship with many co workers, most of which prepare financial information which I review and analyse. Most challenging aspect is playing the political game, Something I dislike. My responsibilities are always carried out timely and I delivery work of the highest standard. I am not challenged technically at all. My job is very easy.

Excellent learning curve

Great environment, friendly staff and exceptional customer service, chance to grow within the business and brand yourself, incentives being shared for target achievements, you will be given a chance to work in each and every department just to get the overall outcome of the store

Great brand to work for

Work starts as early as 6am with whatsapps, messages and emails. Excellent relationship with colleagues. Learnt to be resilient. Enjoy developing my people and seeing them grow in the business. Most challenging is the administration side of the job. There are too many admin functions and trackers and feedback on a daily basis from the business. Operations need to deal with everything and is accountable for everything including Recruitment, Training & development; IR, stocktakes, reporting etc...

Pros: Well known brand to work for
