A really good company to learn and grow. Not the most fair of employers. A lot of favouritism being shown. A lot of nepotism as well. I would definitely have to review my reason for staying if I decide to do such within the next few months

Visual merchandising
I am a fashion graduate currently working for Foschini as an area field visual merchandiser, I currently oversee and give visual direction to 7 stores in Gauteng east and north regions, my daily duties comprise of making sure that information from head office is communicated to stores and making sure stores understand all daily,weekly, monthly and seasonal instructions and briefs. Making sure all windows and in store displays and theatres are to company standards. I have experience in a few CAD programmes such as illustrator, photoshop . I poses a proficient skill level in visual merchandising and design. I would appreciate your feedback. I am hardworking , passionate, have a good eye for detail , creative and driven.

Excellent Growth Oppurtunity
I do the best of my ability to work as very hard to earn good and positive results. Iam very panctual and very good at managing time. I work better in a team because i believe that it is in the best interest to let everyone to contribute to a positi9ve outcome. Throughout my work life i have learnt to work with people. adapt to different attitudes. I enjoy being in a positive enviroment.

The Foschini group work experience
It is a challenging environment to work at. At some point with limited staff and a lot of activities taking place, like receiving stock, attending to customer queries. Following up on orders placed. Implementing new promotions. Analysing business reports and sending feedback. Attending to emails and actioning urgent instruction. Dealing with stafff queries as well.
Pros: Good learning curve in a lot of departments. EG. Jewellery, Cellphones, Clothing and Cosmetics.
Cons: Unexpected long working hours, including Public holidays and weekends

Good Communication skills and Good interpersonal relationship
Working for TFG is like working at home as all staff members treat each other like family. I've learnt more, including good communication skills aspecially when coming to customer service and sometimes it's challenging when it comes to difficult customers, we need to be more patient and relaxed to resolve their issues. Every customer is important. I enjoy team work because we share more ideas.

It lacks a challenge.
It doesn't challenge me at all,if i were to stay i'd get comfortable and find myself in debt.it's actually good for someone who is still at school who doesnt have much responsibilies.
Pros: Guaranteed provident fund and a medical aid
Cons: Not equiping its staff to search for better opportunities or enable them by conducting trainings and short courses.

Learn how to communicate with peers and clients
We work so hard and we understand each other even motivate by having power hours where if you not making sales,we would give support and try to as sit on you sales pitch,learnt a lot how to work as an individual and how to work as a team to meet the daily targets.Sales environment is a very vibey environment where u can stand and pitch feel free when you selling your product.The most challenging part is where you need to convince client or customer to buy your product that you are selling.
