Good finnacial and stockbroking experience received

My job is to service our clients with all their financial needs assisting co workers with irate clients , identifying problem arrears and seeking one call solutions to them , taking on various task for the day , I have gained a better understanding with regards to the stockbroking industry . assisting with estate late accounts , as well as the transferring of investment portfolios to various financial institutions

Pros: great learning opportunities
Cons: no growth opportunity to assist with earning a better income

Good opportunity to learn.

Attended industry events (company presentations, conferences and functions) and interacted with management and other analysts. Assisted the senior analyst in creating financial models and compiling background research with a view to initiating coverage on a company Assisted with background research on the industrial and construction sectors Compiled daily commentary notes on daily market movements Produced a weekly corporate events calendar Developed a quantitative model to gauge where the JSE opens.

Pros: Lots of responsibilities due to the small team
Cons: Not enough staff
