With no education there is no moving forward

My normal work day is to make sure that everyone who comes and work on our site is put through a safety induction and making sure that their safety file is up to date. Also I must ensure that all posts is covered with security officers, I have a good working relationship with my colleagues and the staff at the premise. I have learned that not everything is black and white and that there is always a motive behind something What I enjoy most is to do my job to the fullest extent as a safety officer with regards to the necessary work place procedures that guides us on a day to day basis. The most challenging aspect of the job is to ensure that people follow the necessary health and safety regulations as well as the security rules

Pros: It is a high income job that allows one to further your education so that one may reach a higher position in the company.
Cons: We are so used to working 12 in the security industry which I have done for the last 23 years that it is no longer a concern.

Eager to learn more

i get along with my colleges as well as employees that are based out at site. i always treat others with respect and dignity. i have thought myself everything about the systems i currently work with but would like to achieve move. no job is to challenging as we can all be taught the right way of doing it.

Pros: we all work as a team and care for one another
Cons: no promotions

Hard worker, fast learner, like challenges

I am a very hard work, have management skills, doing postings, work hand to hand with risk controllers and client, do planning, disciplinery procedure, code of conduct, hand and hand with the control room, gallegar, do cctv.

Pros: Any opportunity
Cons: Any hours

Good learning curve

Very good campany to learn and good working relationship with my management and staff on the ground I learnt a lot as for the security industry and how to work with people and leadership skill I enjoyed to work with people from different backgrounds,

Excellent learning curve

It's a good company to work for irregardless of of the salary as an area supervisor I'm always on the road visiting different sites thereby meeting and interacting with different people with different ideas. I really enjoy driving and talking to my security officers and sharing ideas.Now I think it's the time to move on and get new challenges and hopefully a better salary as well. The most challenging thing about this job is when I'm working night shift and driving in the Wii hours of the night when the roads are clear and u are all by yourself sometimes it becomes so dangerous but all in all it's a good experience.

Cons: Very long working hours
