Senior credit controller within one of the hardest portfolios in the fmcg buying groups

Extremely busy with releasing orders and making sure customers donot over trade on their accounts, constant communication with customers ensuring timeously and highest possible collections target are made, learnt to work well under pressure in terms of meeting deadlines and the quick turn around time in the fmcg industry, enjoy the challenges of dealing with extremely difficult clients, and been able to resolve theirs queries, constantly learning and improving my excel skills and other programmes, work with really straight forward people and enjoy working with honest people, I definitely call my colleagues I work with good friends, definitely a challenge keeping up with the extremely fast pace of the industry but this is what makes it exciting.

Pros: Always learning new and easier ways of doing your job
Cons: Not much room for growth, as we have quiet a young team and management are only in their 40's

Excellent learning curve

I am learning alot being under Tigerbrands. There is great opportunity for growth if only given a chance. I would want to be exposed more with costing
