Working at Tikani was a great opportunity I have grown and understand the importance of service delivery to the client. Team work its is important as we would be able work late hour for best report.clients work its important as we have to meet the deadline on time. Have to make sure that compliance is in place governance,finance and performance. Database must always be updated.

It was excellent learning opportunity

Long working hours and good learning curve. We were involved in the Monitoring and evaluation of NPO that are funded by the department of Social Development. I learned how different NPO operates and their environment. Our company was small and provides one with a great opportunity to learn and develop new things.

Good communication skills

Non profite organisation rendering services for monitoring and evaluation to the department of social development. The NPO does quarterly visits to all NPO's receiving funding from DSD e.g. old age home, protective workshops, disability homes etc. The aim is to evaluate if funds are clearly utilised according to SLA costing framework. And give quarterly reports to the department.

Pros: Great learning curve
Cons: Only one year contracts
