Great environment in teaching skills like time management

A typical day consists of constantly monitoring social media and trusted news sources all through the day, which means you are continuously jacked in. It's a stimulating environment that teaches you a lot about your character and just how important it is to break your own barriers. Time management is a huge skill that if you do not possess you soon pick up. But being first doesn't matter if you are not right, so accountability and creditability are non negotiables. Team work is a huge thing because sometimes you have to cover a running story which means liaising with editors and other reporters in and out of the office.

Pros: You are only as good as your last story. Betterment of self is a mantra to live by.
Cons: Sometimes there isn't enough time to spend with the family.

Editing is my nature

I love being in editorial. Knowing that I helped put together something or rather be a part of a greater thing is always fulfilling. I decided to expand on this passion by launching a book of my own, an anthology of poems and with it came a new passion of technology. The time schedule that comes with meeting deadlines and the routine that becomes second nature are what I enjoy the most. Communication amongst workers is what runs the newspaper and makes the work flow smooth. I enjoy my writing column and seeing stories trend beyond our expectation. Technology is ever changing and every growing. It's something that pushes you to always challenge yourself and forces you to keep up whether you want to or not. I believe that I can be a great asset to any team not just because of my exceptional CV but because of my brain and knowledge.

Pros: When I received the honour of having my own online column.
Cons: Having to wait for a story that is late.

No opportunity for growth

New management does not have the required qualities to have an entire department reporting to him. This makes the work place uncomfortable to work in. The colleagues are amazing people but they too have outgrown the passion and excitement.

Pros: Fast paced environment
Cons: Work has become tedious as we do the same thing everyday

Excellent in synergy, enthused by work load and can work under pressure.

Working with my company was great and i learnt so many things about the target market as well as the importance of working with people/team at work. Its a job for patience and giving out your ideas all the time. I enjoyed the acheviements at work and celebrating them. Challenges were dead lines being switched to being closer than anticipated.

Excellent learning curve.

An exciting company that teaches you hands on how to collect, research and report news. A typical day includes scourging mews feeds from social media and other news websites. Being a digital reporter means you are constantly chasing deadlines so time management and being autonomous are vital skils to possess which I have mastered. I enjoy the rush and satisfaction that comes with sharing and creating news.

Pros: Amazing company and growth.
Cons: Erratic working hours.
