It was an excellent experience. A calm friendly environment, I learned a lot.

It was quiet a journey, with exciting daily activities doing toolbox talk and teaching employees about the importance of safety through drama, toolbox talks, posters etc. The employees were friendly warm people but a bit difficult at times which made me strong and fierce because they always kept me on my toes. What I have learned is that being a safety officer is not an office job it requires a full time attention on site, it requires an observer, dedication and you keep learning from daily activities also they all came with a challenge. The most challenging aspects of my job is audits and being in an investigation. When you conduct this two things you always learn something, but what I enjoy most is being in the field observing doing my monthly records etc.

Pros: Its a good learning curve that allows you to explore yourself.
Cons: Shutdowns, night shifts they can be exhausting at times.

Excellent learning Curve

I have gained much expreince from working for TMS, It as really been an eye opener for me. I can safely say that the warehouse industry is were i make a success of my career. I have learnt valuable skills and problem solving tactics of the year which as made me productive.
