Excellent learning inviroment

sufficient, diversity in a work environment, understanding procedures with business support structures, be able to operate both compressor and pump room (understanding pumps, valves, motors, electrical panels). Understanding basics of dry dock shipping (gate operations, capstone, safety of robs and steel robs, positioning ships at center) study structure of the ships so we know on which pattern the blocks should be arranged, dry docking procedure. Also machine operations, welding, cutting, maintenance, crane operations, stripping and re-assembling of mechanical parts and analysis of mechanical drawings. Basic of electricity- working on substations maintenance and test running, meters and its calculations reports, stand-by-plants (generator maintenance and test running), wiring and soldering.

Excellent learning curve

Manage interaction of call centre agents and contact centre communication system. Great Relation with co-workers Learned a lot of the import and export industry Getting involved in creation and implementation of system that will enhance how TNPA conducts business

Pros: Exposure to how Transnet contributes to the economy as a SOE
Cons: No growth opportunities
