I have a successful track record supporting the efforts of executive level staff
I work in an environment where there is a lot of pressure. On a daily basis, my sections are driven by a dashboard of targets. A typical day for me is arriving for work and doing my morning inspections, I start at the effluent and filtration plants. I look at the key performance paramaters and advise accordingly on the processes. I then inspect the extraction plant and look at the presvious day's trends and plan the day ahead - in terms of how much cane the mill is going to crush. I move to the laboratory to review process figures and to see how the plant is performing and also advise and correct as needed to meet the final product specification ie. sugar. I then have sight of the sugar dispatch department and look at the logistics of sugar to the customer. I then attend a morning production meeting. What I enjoy the most about my job is the feeling of victory when my teams meet targets and the open relationship that I have with my teams at the various sections that I lead.

I am ambitious, proactive and hard working individual.
I love working at my current company, but I feel that I need new challenge since I am quite familiar with the environment. I have an excellent relationship with my co-workers, I make sure that I am easy to be approached and give my co-workers my full attention when ever they come to me for help/ advice ''workwise''. I have learnt to handle difficult employees by not arguing with them, but instead I make them realise the importance of working safe. What I enjoy mostly about my job is to interact with different people with different behaviour/ characters. The most challenging aspects is working with people who doesn't take ownership of HSE, people who thinks safety is for HSE Department only, therefor he/she must take ownership for all safety issues.Safety is for all of us not for certain people. Being granted this opportunity would mean everything to me. Your Favourable consideration will be highly appreciated.

Very good Manager, good communicator, up to stundart
Planning and Organizing team, delivering training to ATDPs on the system, training farm labors, supervisors and manager, reviewing true presentations to company Management, budgeting financial and resources wises to make sure that training operation goes smutty. be part of planning, production and organization meeting etc... ATDP=Agriculture Training and Development Programme for sugar Industry in general. challenges are on designing hand out for training according to Agriculture farming procedure and SHE regulations including internal code of conduct. I enjoy most is seeing Manager, supervisors, which I trained and trusted by the company being promoted and directing company destiny with high productivity

Great learning organization
I am a person who enjoys problem solving and so any challenges faced in the department I get involved to try and understand causes in order to provide a lasting solution. I find great pleasure in knowing that I have added value in someone elses career growth and so I always coach and mentor my team members to prepare them for future high skill positions. I keep them motivated by letting them know where they outdone themselves and by doing constructive criticism where it is required. They work with clear and easy to measure goals that are reviewed on a weekly basis. Daily routine includes production planning with my foreman to ensure that potential risks to achieving targets are mitigated and communicated in advance to all stakeholders. The challenges come about as the business is struggling to meet all the objective due to financial constraints and so my job is to ensure that our production is done at minimum cost, to look for cost saving opportunities
Pros: Working with cross functional teams thus learning new skills and a good opportunity to be promoted
Cons: Long hours and end up specializing in sugar process only the longer you stay

N6 mechanical and Electrical engineering

I’m a qualified trade tested Mechanical Fitter, I am currently working as a Mechanical Fitter at Tongaat Huletts Sugar and also recently worked at Tongaat Huletts Sugar as a Mechanical Fitter under a Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) and I also have gained an experience in this company for 2 years during off crop/ Shutdown maintenance and crushing seasons as a Mechanical Fitter in Boilers department. Moreover I obtained N6 qualification in Electrical & Mechanical or Millwright engineering course from Engineering college in 2016 at Coastal KZN TVET College. It has been an excellent learning curve, groomed to be in leadership
I am currently an Area Supervisor for Tongaat Hulett Sugar in their Land Reform Unit, based in Felixton Mill; this experience has provided me with the skills of planning, record keeping and evaluation, management skills, a strong base of communication knowledge and management of staff. I firmly believe that I will be a good fit in this department’s innovative environment. I mostly enjoy seeing people grow, and grow their businesses with my assistance. i have learned to have compassion, patience and persistence.

Motivated and willing to learn
Im a early starter of the day, i get into the plant and talk to the shift workers about issues that they accounted, i try my best to help where i can. i take down all production figures and report at the meetings. everyday i am willing to learn something new. i love my job and love working with people (everyone is not the same) The most challenging aspect of my job is working with huge budget cuts, but somehow we get the plant operating. Tongaat Hulett Sugar is actually having huge retrenchments which has a great disapointment on all us workers .

Excellent exposure to the market
A day starts with assisting customers on new orders which leads to negotiations and contracts. This job is made easier with the corporation with the colleagues who all play their roles in the supply chain. I have learnt that the supply chain process ends with the final customer satisfied and it is the role of everyone to make this task happen. As a result, seeing a customer pleased has been what has kept me happy and find solutions to instances where the customer is not pleased. The most challenging thing is anticipating the market prices so that as a company we price at the right time when the international prices and the currency is in favour for the company. This becomes easier the more one pays attention to the market and its dynamics.

Hard working,honest and ambitious
I am a hard working person who loves working in a relaxed environment with a good team, I have learned to do things as they come and to prioritize my work and to meet deadlines. I enjoy working with people who learn from their mistakes
