Toy kingdom as it is
learnt a lot in toy kingdom but they don't show any appreciation to their employees and once u make a single mistake they kick you out like a dog being loyal to them is a waste of time.its all fun working with kids the experience you get meeting different people everyday and making sales targets each day

Good learning curve for someone who has no working experience
Working at Toy Kingdom has been a great experience for me hence I had no working experience. I learnt a lot in terms of dealing with the customers and merchandising. Co-workers we very friendly and we always worked as a team. The only challenging part of my job was when i get to assist a difficult customer. But all in all I enjoyed working for Toy kingdom i wish they had made me a permanent staff member

Customer service, merchandise, cleaning delegating
Not a best place to be when you wanna study or achieve something different . They dont consider the store level in making decisions the store level has a lot to don't look at the task and the time yes time consious but it must be reasonable and they need to communicate as head

Excellent learning environment
Toy Kingdom is a very nice working environment I personally enjoy entaracting with people and meeting new people everyday and it is also great having to know your customers interests it helps you figure out their interest and get to know them on a personal level to be able to help them and their kids. Working at a toy store is a stepping stone to knowing what various people want for their loved ones

Experience gained is monumental
Typically my day starts at the office at 06h00 and ends at 18h00 with limited breaks and constantly with a moving daily target. The days go quickly and are enjoyable due to the variety of variables delivered at my desk. I have an excellent relationship with 99% of my co-workers. (There are always personality clashes in highly stressful environments - the tricks is how to deal with them) I've learnt how to handle how to move in and out of structured and un-structured days. How to roll with the bad and good days. How to self-motivate and lead. Most challenging would be that because you're a woman its difficult to be heard in a male dominated environment.

Great people skills motivator
My typical work day consists of doing banking via Google docs, filing said banking. Checking for price changes or any other duties sent out via email from head office and completing these tasks by deadlines given. Answering customer requests sent via email and or written in customer request file, following up on repairs and returns and completing general admin. I have an excellent relationship with all staff and management. I have learnt merchandising skills, and have learnt visual merchandising basics. I enjoy working with people most. I am energetic and always friendly! Most challenging aspects are working with difficult clients and having to deal with them in an orderly and respectable manner.

Good learning
I work different shifts... I manage a shift of ten people.i open and close the store. Merchandising and receiving and dispatching of stock. Store administration, banking, stock take.
Pros: Good for elevation
Cons: No over time pay
