Perfect learning curve. Dealing with business on a holistic approach.

Transtech Logistics is logistics and transport company. Processing expenses in the Pastel accounting system. invoicing of debtors for Loads completed and sending invoices to clients. Follow up on outstanding amounts daily.Receiving creditors invoices ,checking and processing them. Had a mentoring role of subordinates in all accounting areas. Have a very good working relationship with other departmental managers. I have learnt proper procedures of conducting disciplinary hearings, proper conducting of level 10 meetings and how to efficiently run a transport company. I enjoyed a lot when it came to grooming the subordinates. It gave me the confidence when other people look up to you for knowledge and guidance. Some creditors do not send formal tax invoices and also do not send statements in time,making reconciliations a nightmare. Transit costs, diesel costs and dispatch funds are cash and it takes 60 days for debtors to pay,resulting in a cash flow gap or crisis.

If you have no personel life and you are married to work, the company is for u.

Relationship with co workers was ok, although the big boss has a couple of pimpies al over the show as he trusts no one and that is a big problem. He thinks he can do everything but in the mean time back at the ranch he just wants everybody to know who the real boss is there and does not care about you, the hours you work, your family or your personal issues. Change Top Management and it will be a good place to work at.

Pros: Get thrown into jobs where u must start swimming which made me learn more than I planned
