Learnt a lot in the public sector environment

I'm job entails working with municipalities, by providing technical guidance on issue's of budgeting, Reporting, Supply Chain management, accounting, co. It further includes monitoring of compliance with all applicable laws and prescription regulating financial affairs of the municipalities. I interact with various stakeholders and has good working relations with them and colleagues at work. To manage these relations its not always easy. I have learned a lot with regard to public service and believe its a fulfilling experience to be of service to the public. More need to be done to improve efficiency in and accountability in the sector.. At a policy level, revision is required to address some of these inefficiency and contradictions.

Opportunity to grow and adding more value to the company

Assist in planning of audit activities, audit programs development, audit fieldwork, performing the audit, reporting on audit processes and administrative functions. Preparing working papers, supporting documentation and reports.

Pros: Opportunity to lean new things everyday
Cons: Dedication at work
