A typical work day Monday - Friday No Weekends unless overtime - Your relationship with co-workers -Excellent we like family - What you have learnt- I have learnt that hard work and determination pays off always do your best and God will do the rest. I have learnt to make decisions without management approval. - What you enjoy most - I enjoy and love my current job however its a contract , I love auditing and doing researching checking and qc, I love creating presentations and arranging of functions and booking arrangements . - The most challenging aspects of the job -Is preparing for a new project making sure all material and books are ready for distribution on the turn around time. Dealing with paying customers making sure all VIP customers are treated as VIPS... Running external team and making sure all material is provided to the team

To be the best you must give your best
I work on the road so will arrive at office after meetings. If no morning meetings then I prefer to be at the office setting up for the day and sourcing leads on digital platforms. I have an excellent relationship with my team mates as well as the rest of the branch. I have learnt quite a lot at my current employer as they constantly train and empower us. I enjoy strategising on advertising opportunities for customers and working on proposals and presentations . This is something I learnt years ago at my previous employer and I believe you capture a clients attention by presenting opportunities to them Challenges would be changing clients perspective about print not being used as much now and moving them over to the digital playing field but I feel that you can overcome any challenge if you are equipped with the skills and provide solid proof to a customer.

Excellent digital products
Working at TRudon provides me with the freedom to make my own decisions and allows me to work at my own pace. Although i am an over achiever i like to get things done accurately and timorously. I love working with the staff, i go out with the to visit VIPS and potential big clients. I have a great working relationship with all staff. I encourage openness and thinking out the box. I reward overachievers and encourage bottom performers. I have learnt a massive amount about trends in the Durban market and how to hone in on the our shortfalls. I enjoy conversing with both clients and staff and it gives me joy to see people succeed. The real difficulty in this job is trying to defend a grudge purchase (telkom yellow pages) - People do believe print is dying. I do however love the victories that come when the team and i overcome these challenges

Great place to learn
It is a great place to do your workplace learning. I had a great relationship with my Seniors and line manager.I learned Google Adwords and Search engine optimization. I loved both cause one is challenging (SEO) and Adwords seeing you ads rank. The most challenging was SEO but great at the same time. A typical work day would be comingto office, have tea and work till 12:00 pm, I take lunch and work throughout 16:00 pm.
Pros: Great working opportunity
Cons: It employs alot more older people than young people

y name is ongezwa Matyeni, I grew up in bekkersdal gauteng,I matriculated by the year 2012, after I have matriculated my dreams and goals were to become an auditor, but unfortunately for me I didn't qualify to the faculty of commerce, I went to a student advise so that I can get more info what else I can do in order for me to persue my career, they I was introduced to something familiar which was transport and supply chain management, they I decided to go through it and the course was enrolled for 3 years , before I even finish my course I was one of the leaarners who were appointed to be part of the internship, they I was employed by the company called trudon yellow pages, my duties were collection data and registering companies into a yellow pages system so that they can be reachable to anyone that is willing to

Credit controlling, collecting outstanding monies
Functions Held: Responsible for recovering any unpaid money that is owed to the organization from businesses for services that has been Rendered. • Duties: Reconciliations Statements for affected customers. • Calling to collect outstanding monies for debt outstanding, • Updating CRM system, • Logging disputes on System known as Selligent • Engaging and Communicating with customer in Writing (Email as well as Correspondence) • Having payment allocated according to aging • Filling and compiling of Vendor Forms forwarding to customer for payments • Drawing of Statements and individual invoices forwarding to customers • Processing Write off • Drawing up Pro Forma Invoices (Upfront Payments) • Creating payment plans with customers • Solving queries , Reconciling of accounts • Writing off and closing of account due to Various reason eg Liquidation Ect

Excellent learning curve and experience gained
A typical day in my work day would include a minimum of 5 fixed appointments which were pre prepped the day or night before to arm myself with an insight into my prospects business. Steategising and identifying potential solutions as well as market trends and competitors behavior and patterns. Cold calling and identifying other prospects as well as admin and submission of sales report. Closing on average 3 deals per day is my minimum personal benchmark and keeping my pipeline continuously flowing.

Culture
It's a great company with new and inovating with the transformation from print to digital. It's a struggle with fulfilment however the oportunities are great. I inovating ways to generate sales is a challenge.
Pros: Company is going through change so there is opprtunities for development in new depts
