I work for a non-profit organization in which we focus on events more than anything -well our office focuses on events. We do events to create awareness about our organization and the services and contribution it does in society. I have learned numerous skills, such as working under pressure, I also didcovered my potential to meet deadlines and get important tasks well done, crisis management, my written communication and verbal communication skills have improved a great lot. I enjoy the thrill and pressure that comes with organising big events, the rush is exciting. This is also because I am part of a good team and we always cover each others short comings but I have also established a sense of independence. Our team has had to work with a very small budget and that is always a challenge because you have to think out side the box and meet demands. Regards

It develops my communication Skills
Tshwane Leadership Foundation Its an good organisation wheres it helps homeless and vulnerable people,It also does uplift spiritual people by offering counselling and motivating them to reach their goals.It does offer extra activities such as skills to its staff for them to understand have knowledge.

Every relaxed and exciting organization with lot of learning opportunities
Achievements: • Recruited for specialists and executive staff for the organization. • Developed strategic HR decisions and plans. • Facilitated discussion as a coach through our weekly staff meetings. • Presented to a large audience of managers at quarterly management meetings and AGM. • Collaborated with Finance staff to develop Payroll and other data management tools. • Participated in developing a seven-day community feast of the clowns. Support • Successfully tracking of all staff annual leaves days on the system. • Coordinating of performance management Implementation/Innovation • Helping employees to understand the organizational strategy. • Training and development

Outreach worker
Outreach is going out of the workplace and finding ,looking for the people who are being abused (women and children),those who are using substances that are not safe ,in this way we try to make awareness campaigns ,workshops to implement their problems and by doing this they will be able to see that we are allowing them to be part of our community members in helping them . As Tshwane Leadership Foundation we want to see a heathy and vibrant community flourishing in GOD's presnce ,as for me being an outreach worker I have to ensure that my company's theme is used in a direct way. I am also the outreach worker administrative in managing the files during the afternoons.

Excellent experiential learning curve
its hectic, but worth it. being an intern is challenge as everything is new in the beginning and juggling work with school can be a bit of a challenge, however, when one does find balance it works out well. a major part of my job is project management as the organisation is an umbrella organisation for 7 projects that cater for different needs of the society, namely; homelessness; gender-based violence victims; hospice; mental health institution; home for young girls; children's home and refugee program.
Pros: lots of relevant work experience and positive outcomes for society
