Good place to learn and apply your skills

Good company to work and learn the industry. Reaching sales targets are challenging. Good working enviroment. Everyone works works well together to get the job done.We have all the tools to get the work done . Work day starts at six o clock, checking e-mails and reply where possable, Do the outstanding quotes and send to clients.I have 17 years working experience in petrochemical, marine /mining & industrial engineering hydraulic component sourcing/procurement for, projects, Technical specifications, technical sales and stores. I also assist the engineers with selection of components for new builds and repairs of equipment. I am a firm believer in learning new skills and empowering the people around you and to develop yourself and the team the surrounds you. Next move is to get my CIPS Logistic and Supply Chain Management Diploma in 2017.

Everyday bring a different set of challenges which you can learn from.

Nice enviroment to work and learn. Everyday is different and interaction with suppliers and satisfied client is rewarding. I am part of a good team that works well as long as we stick to the process that and consistantly try to up skill the team.

Pros: Good learning and upgrading your people skills.
Cons: Moving away from what I am good at which is procurement

Good company and good learning

Nice working enviroment , Very condusive for learning new things. Start at 6 in the monrning, checking e-mails and respond to them.Start on my quotes and re-checking all outstanding information to complete quotes and mail them out. Co-ordinate with stores what needs to go out on delivery or be collected too clients. Chasing payments at the end of the month with the accounts person. Relationship is good. I have learnt alot about mechanical valves as my backround are more process valves and hydraulics.I enjoy everything in my job. Thje most challenging thing in my line of work is getting orders from overseas on a 2 week deadline with the correct approval certificates and we all know it takes longer.

Pros: You learn everyday
Cons: Stress level can get high
