Great learning curve in the automotive industry

I have gained a great deal of knowledge regarding motor vehicles, both in a mechanical and safety sense. It is a very busy environment in terms of customers both walk in and telephone inquiries This is a target driven industry. There is a great deal of responsibility that comes with the position I fill, as the owner/managing director performs most title related duties off site. Some responsibilities incl: Managed all staff members Delegating tasks Staff register Staff leave applications & general HR Invoicing Managed accounts -debtors and creditors Cash flow Petty cash register Credit applications

Pros: Great industry which I'm passionate about
Cons: Working hours exceed 9 hours per day and 6 days a week

Always up for a challenge

Typical working day... 1. start of with me opening the shop, welcoming the staff 2. checking client request for quotations and sending quotation to clients 3. setting staff up with regards to work that needs to be carried out Relationship with co-workers.... I have and excellent relationship with all my co -workers, always treat them with respect, always there to help whether business or personal. What have I learnt... Don't ever take things for grated. What do I enjoy most... I enjoy a challenge, enjoy meeting new people and love solving problems. The most challenging aspects of the job... making sure that no matter how busy we are, that everything runs smooth and efficient

Cons: no me time
