Great grown environment
The work environment is dynamic in the sense that project management has huge dependencies in working in alignment with other subcontractors. The project programme to refurbish an office block is managed at client level and provides huge challenges in managing resources, stakeholdeeskom and ensuring continuous communication within the organisation. I have enjoyed building strong customer, team and subcontractors relationship by maintaining good communication and reporting. Personally working in a male dominated environment was challenges to drive process as main focus and keep open communication.

Excellent learning curve
The organisation provides a great opportunity to grow as an individual as the Project Coordinator role enables me to manage project delivery from end -end. Typical work day: Check-in sessions with the teams Plan and organise tasks Review project schedule and update accordingly were necessary Job/task planning Reporting Customer meeting attendance Stock ordering for Customer relationship management I have learnt to manage a team and work closely with the team leaders and technicians Challenges is managing customer expectations where there are dependencies outside of the project's scope.

Typical work day
get in, turn telephone lines on and wait for phone calls Monday and the last day of the month I submit telephone reports Thursday mornings I submit couriers report the job is really boring and there's not much growth of challenge My colleagues are very laid back and friendly I enjoy working with them a lot
