Started as a Debtors clerk, within 2 months I was offered a Team leader position.

Send bankstatements & cashbook recons to clerks & assist them with queries.Sign off cr notes.Creditlifts are my main focus, this is a high pressure environment. Give sales consultants feedback why credit can’t be granted to a customer, find the best possible solution. Keep constant track of cr granted on customers & POP received to avoid overexposure.I'm a fair & approachable liaison between clerks & sales consultants. I give compliments where it's due.I’m straight forward but still respectful towards my fellow co-workers. People think and act differently and that has to be respected. I enjoy surprising employees on their birthday. Its good for team spirit. My challenges are staying calm and composed all day with impatient sales departments. Finding time to take tea/lunch breaks due to the volume of credit lift requests, rest periods are important to operate optimal.

Pros: Provident fund, Medical aid and 13th cheque.
Cons: No growth opportunities.

Excellent learning curve

Getting to the office, make a cup of coffee, talked about the weekend's rugby, jump in and start closing tickets. (Every day we'd make a game of it to see who closed the most tickets or the most difficult tickets. Come-backs are not acceptable! Excellent relationship with co-workers, as we laughed together but also worked hard together always meeting deadlines. Teamwork is a must. Always assist co-workers where you can. Happy customers are returning and regular customers. I enjoyed every second. If it was a "slow" day or if the pressure was on to get an Audit done, we always made it fun. Most challenging aspects of the job was the odd guy who never pulled his weight.

Pros: Excellent learning curve, great atmosphere
Cons: No promotions or increases, no Recognition

Nothing much,

I'm being over worked, under paid, and discriminated against. I just want to leave the company and join a better company that will accommodate my skills and education. I would love to join a company that will build me into a better person rather than oppress my qualities due to my race.

Pros: None
Cons: Unitrans does not build you into a better IT personnel.

Sales Consultant

I am a very hardworking and dedicated individual. I enjoy working with all kinds of people in the workplace and within the public. I am a very quick learner, very proud individual in all I do, very helpful and respectful and honest. Loyalty to my employer and colleagues is very important factor in my life, and I know that I would be a valuable asset to the company that chooses to employ me. I am know ready for the Challenge to become a sales manager and i know i have the knowledge and the ability to be one, and I know that i am dedicated and am ready know for the challenge. I put in the time and efforts to excel in all i do!

Good learning curve

I prepare and process the payments of two big suppliers with estimated figures of 5 to 10 million a day. I also work closely with a financial manager who oversee my work accuracy. I do creditors reconciliation, interest payments, depreciation calculations and process journals on month ends.

Cons: Long working hours

Unitrans automotive is a motor industry company,we work with different branches vw,Toyota,Ford,etc I have learned working alone,underpressure and meeting deadlines on time

Excellent environment and awesome management

It was an incredible company, with awesome management and stufff, though there was a little bit of racism which wasn't always the case, very nice environment and clean at all times, but the management was very hard

Excellent learning curve

for entry level is good start and working conditions are good . we work as team but when it comes to salary they dont appreciate their employees. long working hours and make sure you close 300 calls per month
