University of Johanneburg Reviews

General review

University of Johannesburg is the great space to work for! Everyday is a different day, and it needs on to juggle in in order to fulfil the business mandate , and most of all be of service to various stakeholders. It is quite important to prioritise your service offering inline with what is urgent , and what is a priority. It has been great learning environment particularly dealing with academics from diverse fields, and interests/motivations. Pro-activeness is the key towards my service offering to diverse client base. I enjoy most dealing with diverse groups, and with divergent business interest(s), and but with the purpose of achieving common goal. The most challenging aspect has always been to guide groups towards directing to overall business agenda as opposed to personal(departmental) glory.

Pros: Flexible working enviornment, greats engaging team(s)
Cons: Promotion opportunities

A very good learning curve

I work as a project coordinator where i am responsible for coordination of projects and its day operations. The main responsibility is to formulate a project charter and develop the estimates of the project and research the need for that project, then a detailed project proposal. The work is enjoyable as the team is united and we seem to be getting to know better as we help each other. Deadlines are challenging for everyone but so far most projects where achieved in desirable time.

Pros: Growth is there
Cons: no overtime
