University of Western Cape Reviews

What if your if works???

As a student Tutor at the University of the Western Cape ,i have been taught of the need to deliver good quality presentation skills to the audience who in this case would be students. Typically its my duty to prepare a lecture on basic concepts taught in class, therefore my duties are to revisit various topics where students encounter difficulties in understanding. This part-time job has enriched my inter-personnel skills as my role is that of bridging the gap between a Lecturer and his or her Students.By creating a counteractive learning environment i see to it that students open up to me so i can facilitate some understanding in my area of expertise.

Pros: A very interesting on the job training as it allows me to recapture some basic concepts learnt a while ago.
Cons: Extra dedication is required on preparing the tutorials as they are time consuming.

Excellent working environment

It was a great experience working with a very dedicated team. A typical day at for a Fieldworker would be setting up and going door to door to get participants and ask them the questions prepared for that particular study. I enjoyed the entire experience of working with the team of professionals in different fields.

Pros: Great opportunity to interact with the communitym
Cons: Bad Weather Conditions
