Through team work, job can be done quicker

My job involves working with internal and external clients everyday, from arranging pick-ups, arranging customs clearance, billing and delivery. I work very well with my team, we support each other in order to get the job done as we all share a common goal of keeping our clients happy. I have leant that team work is the key to achieving maximum results. In this industry I have also learned that communication is very important. Keeping the clients updated on the progress of their shipments assures them that their shipments are in good hands. I enjoy dealing with different people from different business levels, and solving their shipping problems. Some of the challenges is when you rely on third parties to get the job done, e.g waiting for releases/charges from shipping lines before delivery can be arranged.

Pros: As I work in a small office, I get exposed to different functions in shipping as oppossed to big offices where you are only responsible for a certain function.
Cons: In a small office there is no room for growth
