Risk processes

My typical day for me involves interacting with executives and following up on various risk issues. One of my strong points is my ability to communicate risk information in an understandable language. ensuring that staff, managers and executives are able to manage processes and associated risks as a single objective. I enjoy meetings with business and devising strategies to mitigate risks with a view to ensuring business objectives are met. the most challenging part is to get people who are stuck on their ways to embrace risk management as part of their daily tasks. I love learning new things each and everyday.

Usaasa is not a very big company so things are not that hectic, i enjoy working with my colleagues because i learn a lot from them, i do not usually hang around with users, i rather study or keep myself busy with work staff. When i joined the company i didn't even know how to format a laptop but know i even know how to configure and install software's.

Pros: IT sector is a growing industry,Companies are always looking for network and security technicians.
Cons: As the information technology industry grows, so does the number of other qualified applicants, meaning that you will have a lot of competition in the field.

Exposure to ict sector

Typical day involves working long hours, I have a good working relationship with some co-workers. There are learning opportunities in the ICT sector, and have so far learnt a lot in terms of broadband, wifi and telecommunication. I enjoy the exposure I get working with different boards members and external stakeholders. Challenging experienced is lack of stability in terms of leadership for the agency.

Pros: USAASA is well placed to contribute to the 4th Industrial revolution in terms of ICT
Cons: Long working hours and instability in the leadership
